Bathroom renovation by the crew that does the waterproofing.
Most renovation companies hire out the tile. We are the tile crew, and we run the whole bathroom: demolition, plumbing checks, waterproofing, tile, glass, vanity, countertop and finishing.
Everything, not just the tile.
We work in 1970s to 1990s houses with the original tub, in condos with dated 4x4 tile, and for families who want one crew in the house instead of five. Based in Coquitlam, working across the Lower Mainland.
- Demolition and disposal
- Plumbing check before anything is covered; rough-in changes by licensed trades [CONFIRM]
- Electrical for heated floors, fans and lighting by licensed trades [CONFIRM]
- Waterproofing membrane, slope and drain built by us
- Floor and wall tile: porcelain, large-format, natural stone, mosaics
- Shower niche, bench, curbless or curbed shower
- Tub-to-shower conversion
- Vanity, quartz countertop, undermount sink
- 10 mm frameless glass
- Fixtures, toilet, accessories, paint and finishing
What is behind the tile decides how long it lasts.
Every bidder shows you tile samples. Ask them about this list. We photograph each of these steps before it is covered and send the photos to your phone.

Backer board, not drywall
Wet walls get cement board or a foam board system, screwed and taped, never painted drywall behind tile.
- 02
The membrane
A sheet or liquid waterproofing membrane [CONFIRM system: Schluter Kerdi, Mapei, Laticrete] over the whole wet area, with pre-formed corners and a bonded drain. This is the part that keeps the subfloor dry for twenty years.
- 03
The slope and the flood test
The shower base is built with a true fall to the drain. Before any tile goes down we plug the drain, fill the pan, and leave it [CONFIRM: flood test duration]. You get the photo.
- 04
Flat tile, full coverage
Large-format tile is set with a leveling system and back-buttered for full mortar coverage, so there are no hollow spots to crack and no lips to catch a toe.

Questions we get asked
How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Metro Vancouver?
Most full bathroom renovations land between $[CONFIRM] and $[CONFIRM] depending on size, tile selection, whether plumbing moves, and glass and fixture choices. We give a free in-home estimate and a written, itemized quote so you know the number before work starts.
How long does a bathroom renovation take?
A typical full bathroom takes about 2 to 4 weeks on site [CONFIRM]. Tub-to-shower conversions and tile-only projects are faster. You get a schedule with the quote and one crew from demolition to final walkthrough.
Do you handle plumbing and electrical, or just tile?
We manage the whole bathroom. Tile and waterproofing are done in-house; plumbing and electrical are handled by licensed trades we work with regularly [CONFIRM]. Every job starts with a check of the existing plumbing before any tile goes down.
Can you convert my bathtub into a walk-in shower?
Yes. We remove the tub, waterproof the shower area, tile the floor and walls, and install frameless 10 mm glass. Curbless, barrier-free showers are also available.
Why are the quotes I am getting so different?
Usually because they are not quoting the same job. One quote includes a waterproofing membrane, a sloped mortar base and new backer board; another tiles over what is there. One includes demolition, disposal and a plumbing check; another leaves those as extras. Ask every bidder for an itemized scope. Ours lists every step and every material, so you can compare line by line.
Can I use my only bathroom while it is being renovated?
Plan to be without it for the length of the job. We keep the toilet working as long as the layout allows and tell you the exact days it will be out [CONFIRM]. Families with one bathroom often schedule the work around a trip, or we sequence the job so the downtime is as short as possible.
Which areas do you serve?
We are based in Coquitlam and work across Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland: the Tri-Cities, Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver, the North Shore, Richmond, Surrey, Delta, White Rock, Langley, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows [CONFIRM].
